We can offer six free trial sessions to adults who are isolated and to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities.
Session Activities:
Musical Mobility: Gentle and fun seated exercise led by a qualified health instructor
Relaxing Reflexology: Gentle hand or foot massage by a trained reflexologist
New Age Kurling: Easy team game played seated or standing and led by ActivLives
In addition, we can offer an individual consultation with our sessional health instructor who will help you to devise a simple exercise routine you can use at home.

SUFFOLK HISTORY – Informative and thought provoking – A series of talks given by a guest presenter Pip Wright on Suffolk’s local history. Pip’s presentations are usually one hour long with accompanying slides that bring the presentation to life.
WELLBEING FOR ALL – Health Watch to help improve people’s experience spotlight on health issues and social care. Regular visits to our sessions to discuss issues disabled adults live with.
EMPHASIS ON EXERCISE – The emphasis on fun with exercise as part of the wellbeing programme with our qualified fitness instructor providing regular exercise mobility sessions throughout the year.
GREEN FINGERS GARDENING – This is a new project for 2019 working in partnership with Red Gables growing vegetables in a raised bed at the Red Gables Wellbeing Hub, members can enjoy their time gardening and benefit from this therapeutic outdoor activity.
EXERCISE YOUR SKILL AND MEMORY – MICHAEL’S MARVELLOUS QUIZZES with quizzes to suit a range of skills and knowledge.
GUESS THE MUSIC QUIZ – How good is your knowledge of music? Can you guess the song, musician, film and songwriter/composer?
GAMES AND FRIENDLY COMPETITION – Rummikub, scrabble, dominoes, quoits, beetle drive, crosswords.
AXIS FOR ART – Tea cup and saucer sculpture with resident artist Maggie Campbell. With the sculpture now complete (see our Timeless Sculpture page) – the new art project is under way.
Session Transportation:
Having trouble getting to our meetings? We can provide some transportation in our accessible minibus so please let us know if you will need to book this when you book a session in.
Session Booking:
All sessions must be booked a week in advance and participants can book for more than one session depending on availability. Places are offered on a first come first served basis.
We welcome self-referrals as well as referrals from family members, health and social care professionals, and carers providing that it is with the agreement of service-users.
